Full or part clearance of overgrown gardens — removal of overgrown trees and shrubs, brambles, ivy, saplings, hedges, and green waste — leaving a clean, cleared site ready for the next stage.
New property owners inheriting neglected gardens, landlords preparing rentals, executors clearing probate properties, developers clearing plots, and anyone who's let a garden 'go' for a few too many years.
Any time of year (with nesting checks in the bird season). Ideal before landscaping, building work, sale of a property or the start of a new tenancy.
Doing it yourself with a hire-shop chipper is a fortnight of work, three trips to the tip, damaged hands and an ache that won't quit. Doing it with a proper team is a day or two — with everything gone, chipped on site, and no skips on the drive.
An overgrown garden isn't just an eyesore — it's a legal, insurance and neighbour problem waiting to happen.
Buyers walk away from properties with jungle gardens. Estate agents routinely price them down 5–10%.
Overgrown gardens host rats, foxes and wasp nests that spread into the house and neighbouring properties.
Un-managed gardens attract dumped waste and become fire risk in dry summers.
No day rates. No guesswork on the day. You know what we're doing, when, and what it costs before a single cut is made.
We walk the site, agree scope (what stays, what goes) and access.
One price for the whole clearance — within 24 hours.
Visual check for active nests and protected species before starting.
Trees felled, shrubs cut, brambles and ivy taken back, ground worked over as agreed.
Everything possible chipped on site; the rest loaded and removed under our EA licence.
Full-day teams clear more in a day than DIY manages in a fortnight.
No skip, no piles, no trips to the tip — all disposed of legally by us.
Woody material chipped where practical, reducing waste volume and cost.
Clean, level(-ish) ground ready for landscaping, laying, or replanting.
EA waste carrier licence, £10m public liability, no fly-tipping risk to you.
One written price, honoured — no 'while we're here' extras.
Overgrown trees and saplings, dense scrub, brambles, ivy on ground and structures, hedges that need removing entirely, laurel thickets, bamboo colonies (with follow-up plan — bamboo needs ongoing management), self-set sycamores and holly, and general accumulated green waste. On probate and long-vacant properties we regularly clear alongside general waste too — quoted per site.
Domestic rubbish (fridges, mattresses, sofas) needs a separate specialist waste licence, but we can recommend and coordinate. Asbestos of any kind — do not disturb; a licensed asbestos contractor is legally required. Contaminated soil — needs a soil survey and specialist disposal.
Bird nesting season is March–August; we visually check every hedge, ivy tangle and shrub before cutting. Where nests are active we work around them or return post-fledging. Bats in outbuildings, badger setts and great crested newts are all protected species — if we spot signs we stop and advise. All arisings are removed under our Environment Agency waste carrier registration and disposed of at licensed facilities with a waste transfer note.
Cleared sites can be topsoiled and levelled, seeded or turfed, or handed straight to a landscaper. We're happy to coordinate the next stage — planting, hedging, tree replacement — as a follow-on job.
Fixed price per site after a free visit — never a day rate. Cost varies with size, density, access and how much woody material can be chipped on site.
A neglected suburban garden is often a full day for a 3-person team; larger or heavily overgrown plots can be 2–3 days. Confirmed in the written quote.
Yes — everything, under our Environment Agency waste carrier licence. Chipped on site where possible to reduce volume.
Yes with visual nest checks. Where nests are found we work around them or return once fledglings have left.
Domestic rubbish is a separate licence; we'll coordinate a specialist waste contractor at the same time so it's still one job for you.
Basic ground working is included; substantial hard landscaping removal is quoted separately.
Yes — often quoted as a follow-on visit once the cleared ground has settled.
£10m public liability, £5m employers' liability, EA waste carrier registered.
Free site visit. Written quote — not a day rate. Council TPO paperwork handled on your behalf. Full clean-up and all waste chipped or taken away under our Environment Agency waste carrier licence.
