A written annual or multi-year agreement covering scheduled inspections, hedge cutting, dead-wooding, priority reductions and emergency response, at an agreed fixed price per visit or per year.
Housing associations, property management companies, schools, care homes, hotels, estates, private landlords with portfolios, commercial sites, hospitals and religious institutions.
Anywhere a site has enough trees or hedges that ad-hoc quoting is inefficient, safety-critical inspections need to be documented, or budgets are set annually.
One phone call a year instead of six. Documented safety inspections instead of reactive scrambling. A known cost line on the budget instead of surprise storm-week invoices. And a contractor who actually knows your trees, not one meeting them for the first time in an emergency.
Ad-hoc, reactive tree management costs you three ways: emergency premium rates, higher insurance exposure, and the audit gaps that turn a minor incident into a legal problem.
For commercial and landlord clients, the Occupiers' Liability Act and Health & Safety at Work Act require documented tree risk management. No records = no defence.
Storm-week call-out rates are 2–3× standard scheduled work. A contract locks in scheduled pricing plus priority emergency response.
One-off jobs mean nobody's tracking your trees between visits. Dead limbs, fungal fruiting bodies and structural defects go unspotted.
No day rates. No guesswork on the day. You know what we're doing, when, and what it costs before a single cut is made.
Full walkover, tree-by-tree condition notes, priority list, risk-rated.
Written proposal — visits per year, work scope per visit, inspection frequency, response times, agreed price.
One-year or multi-year contract, invoiced per visit or annually.
Team returns on the agreed calendar; work carried out to spec; site sign-off form completed each visit.
Full tree walkover annually; updated inventory and next-year plan.
Fixed annual price, invoiced how it suits your accounts.
Written records of every inspection and job — your defence in any incident.
Contract clients jump the queue, at contract rates, out of hours included.
Continuity means small changes get spotted early.
No surprise invoices — planned work costed at the start of the year.
Meets insurer, HSE and Occupiers' Liability expectations for tree risk management.
A standard commercial contract includes an annual safety inspection (VTA — Visual Tree Assessment), scheduled hedge cutting (usually 2 visits/year), routine dead-wooding on a 3–5 year cycle, priority reductions as identified in the annual inspection, and an emergency call-out line — the phone is answered out of hours — at contract rates. Everything is agreed upfront and priced.
Housing associations and social landlords, private residential estates, schools and academies, care homes and hospitals, hotels and hospitality, religious institutions, industrial and commercial estates, retail parks, and highway/rail-adjacent clients requiring qualified NPTC teams and RAMS documentation.
For every scheduled visit we provide (as required): risk assessment and method statement (RAMS), copies of insurance certificates, NPTC/City & Guilds qualification records, Environment Agency waste carrier licence, and dated waste transfer notes. Post-visit sign-off documents are held on file and can be sent to you or your compliance team.
We quote per site after a full walkover. Contracts are typically one year with a rolling renewal, though 3-year fixed contracts (with modest indexing) suit larger estates. Emergency call-outs for contract clients are prioritised and charged at contract rates, not the retail emergency premium.
Fixed annual price per site, quoted after a walkover — reflects tree count, condition, hedge lengths, access and required visit frequency. There is no set 'per tree' or 'per acre' figure.
Yes — many private clients with several mature trees use a light 'inspection + priority work' contract for peace of mind. Not the norm, but easy to arrange.
Yes — standard for every commercial visit and available on request for domestic contracts.
The phone is answered out of hours, including at weekends. Contract clients get priority, with a response arranged straight away at contract rates.
£10m public liability, £5m employers' liability. Insurance certificates supplied to procurement before contract start.
Our own NPTC-qualified team, led by Sam. Occasional MEWP or crane hire is subcontracted to accredited operators for specific jobs.
Yes — we tender for housing association, council and estate contracts. Full documentation pack available.
Standard is one year rolling. We can also do three-year fixed contracts for larger sites where budget certainty is important.
